Since 1980 is connected to the world of fine art prints, a process that began as Assistant Printer, Printer Art and later as Technical Specialist Engraving, time in which printed editions directly or supervised by Roberto Matta, Rene Portocarrero, Debora Schinlerd, Tomas Sanchez Juan Genoves, Nelson Domínguez, Roberto Fabelo, Zaida del Río, Eduardo Roca (Chocolate), Jesus Nunez, Pepe Franco, among many other renowned artists. In this period accumulated experience training more than a dozen printers in Art Lithograph, woodcut and intaglio.

He has taught over 50 short courses to individual students and group of different countries, different techniques of art prints from 1984 to today, still the most interesting period, because of the constant search for practical solutions to the continuing lack of specialized resources to the visual arts in general, normal and current situation of Cuba, is the period from 1990 to 2002, where he worked closely with Alejandro Sainz, talented writer and master printer Contino José Pérez, sadly deceased, who was a those directly responsible in his capacity as founder of Tegh (Taller Experimental de Grafica in Havana) in 1962, the recovery of lithographic techniques in Cuba and Latin America, Master of more than 10 generations of graphic artists, many of whom were part of the faculty who organized the curriculum of the School of Visual Arts in the 70 Cuban and the Institute Superior de Arte, ISA.

From this period comes the interest of focusing the teaching artist starts necessarily with the knowledge of natural and industrial resources of geographical and economic environment for students, schools or workshops that teach the courses, adapting them as far as possible the traditional technical procedures and Graphic Arts Prints and constantly experimenting on this objective reality, this seemingly traumatic, it is very rewarding and allows searches formal and / or very broad concept, and ensure the training of students very versatile, capable and creative

These searches and experimentation necessarily derived toward recycling and waste resources, completing a cycle that was present in the workshops he taught for four years at the San Alejandro Academy of Arts as Professor of Screen Arts for students in the Specialty Engraving last year, where they learned from carpentry to basic chemistry, giving them as far as possible, given the short duration of the semester of classes that includes the specialty, a wealth of skills and fostering an ongoing experimental space, mutually reciprocal, allowing them face the realization of his work in very difficult circumstances

At the same time gave a series of experiential workshops called From Nothing to Everything on the Woodcut, based on the use and recycling of human and industrial wastes in order to perform all processes from scratch recording tools, papers or media, inks and printing machinery as a result of it looking for the work printed and exposed, these workshops had its first edition during the 8th Meeting of Engraving, in August 2004 and the Academy of Fine Arts San Alejandro event hosted theoretical These workshops are currently undertaking as part of the class content of this course the Academy and are sponsored by the Taller Experimental de Grafica in Havana

He has been Tutor, Consultant, Advisor and Thesis Opponent of students of the Academy San Alejandro Fine Arts until 2006.

Since February 2009, Print Master and Professor of Traditional Techniques and Experimental Printmaking Workshop Art Prints Print Santiesteban Schmidt Hialeah, Miami, which also serves as Artist.
